Olivera Cala Dor

Location

Olivera is set in a privileged quiet rural area with great far reaching country views of the surroundings and the small village of Cas Concos in the distance. The house is located only 1.6 km. away from Cas Concos with local shops, a bakery, a few cafeterias and restaurants. Cala D'Or is a lively resort within 20 minutes drive, with several sandy coves, a seemingly never ending choice of restaurants and an impressive international yacht harbour. In Cala D'or you can also practice water sports or enjoy an excursion by boat to discover the pretty south-east coast of Majorca. Approx. 15 minutes drive is the inland town of Felanitx with shops, restaurants and a bustling weekly market every Sunday morning. The golf course Vall D’Or golf is within 20 minutes drive.

The house

Olivera is a fabulous new construction country house built to a high standard that offers central heating throughout and air conditioning in the bedrooms. The exterior walls are clad with rural stone and the interior offers sunny spacious rooms with beautiful rustic details, modern fittings and fantastic open views of the surroundings.

From the hall you reach the open bright living room with comfortable sofas, a closed fireplace and patio doors opening onto the covered terrace that enjoys views of the pool and surroundings. Great kitchen/dining room separated by a stone archway. The island kitchen that is equipped to a high standard has a side door to the exterior. The dining area has beautiful dining table –a stone archway connects to the living room -. Completes the ground floor a guest toilet, and a spacious double bedroom with en suite shower-room –suitable for wheelchair users-. This bedroom has access to the side terrace. A lovely designed staircase leads to the upper floor where there are four en-suite bedrooms. A double bedroom with shower-room and a twin bedroom with walk-in shower. The other two are twin bedrooms –one with walk-in shower and the other with Jacuzzi/bathtub. These two bedrooms have access to a terrace with gorgeous open country and pool views; a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace of the country.

The exterior

Olivera is located in a peaceful green setting, with wild olive trees, bushes and a garden with Mediterranean plants, palm and coconut trees. The outside is lovely and spacious. At the front of the house there is a patio and at the back we find the pool area and a covered terrace that counts with a dining area to enjoy “al fresco” meals and a sitting area to relax. This is the perfect place to enjoy a depth sense of peace and tranquillity, as the terrace overlooks the fantastic open surroundings with panoramic views of the village Cas Concos with the church’s bell tower in the distance. From here a few steps takes down to the pool area with a well kept lawned area, an open poolside shower and a beautifully designed pool (4m. x 12m. Depth min. 1.10. max. 2.30) with Roman steps. The pool is surrounded by a sun terrace with sun beds; ideal to enjoy the long summery days.

Bed linen, towels for the house, tea towels, the final cleaning and other costs (electricity, water, gas) are included in the price.
The first cot and highchair are included in the price. The second cot or chair cost 5€ per night each.
